Inflation Cleaner is designed for cleaning all rubber parts. It preserves elasticity, insures the longer life of all rubber parts, and cleans vacuum lines.
#3 - 4.5 pound pail
Directions
Wash inflations and rubber parts from machinery in a normal manner. Then place these rubber goods in a container and use one of the two following methods.
- Add 1 oz. of Inflation Cleaner to one gallon of hot water 160-180°F covering all rubber goods. Soak for ½ hour, but no longer than two hours keeping the solution warm. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and wash in a solution of 1 oz. Milkstone Remover to each gallon of water. Brush thoroughly. Rinse with potable water.
- Add 10 oz. of Inflation Cleaner per gallon of cold water. Soak all parts for one week in a clean and covered container. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and wash in a solution of 1 oz. Milkstone Remover to each gallon of water. Brush thoroughly. Rinse with potable water.
Cleaning Vacuum Lines
- Prepare a solution of Inflation Cleaner in a pail: add 2 oz. of Inflation Cleaner to each gallon of hot water.
- Start vacuum pump. Drain 1 quart of solution through each stall cock. Use airline as a transfer tube.
- Work solution in and out of airlines every few seconds causing increased cleaning action.
- Do not use more solution than the vacuum tank can hold. Empty trap of drain tank.
- Lines should be rinsed with a solution of Milkstone Remover.
