Inflation Cleaner is designed for cleaning all rubber parts. It preserves elasticity, insures the longer life of all rubber parts, and cleans vacuum lines.

Directions

Wash inflations and rubber parts from machinery in a normal manner. Then place these rubber goods in a container and use one of the two following methods.

  1. Add 1 oz. of Inflation Cleaner to one gallon of hot water 160-180°F covering all rubber goods. Soak for ½ hour, but no longer than two hours keeping the solution warm. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and wash in a solution of 1 oz. Milkstone Remover to each gallon of water. Brush thoroughly. Rinse with potable water.
  2. Add 10 oz. of Inflation Cleaner per gallon of cold water. Soak all parts for one week in a clean and covered container. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and wash in a solution of 1 oz. Milkstone Remover to each gallon of water. Brush thoroughly. Rinse with potable water.

Cleaning Vacuum Lines

  1. Prepare a solution of Inflation Cleaner in a pail: add 2 oz. of Inflation Cleaner to each gallon of hot water.
  2. Start vacuum pump. Drain 1 quart of solution through each stall cock. Use airline as a transfer tube.
  3. Work solution in and out of airlines every few seconds causing increased cleaning action.
  4. Do not use more solution than the vacuum tank can hold. Empty trap of drain tank.
  5. Lines should be rinsed with a solution of Milkstone Remover.
